Terms & Conditions
Effective date: October 23, 2026. Last updated: October 2026.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and TGP Ventures LLC. They cover your use of calltherightpro.com, our buyer's guide, our AI texting demo (including early access sign-ups), our texting program, and any related services (together, the "Services"). Please read them. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Who we are
Call The Right Pro is operated by TGP Ventures LLC, a Utah limited liability company doing business as Call The Right Pro (Utah entity number 14752100-0160). "We," "us," and "our" mean TGP Ventures LLC. "You" means the person using the Services and, if you use them for a business, that business too. Contact: [email protected].
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use the Services. If you use the Services for a business, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that business and to accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. The guide is for information only
Call The Right Pro is a free, independent buyer's guide to home service pros in Utah County, Utah. Listings are free, and ranking is never for sale. We check listings as described on How we vet pros, but:
- The guide is general information, not professional advice. We are not a contractor, broker, or employment agency, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a pro.
- A listing, ranking, rating, or "checked" label is not an endorsement, recommendation, guarantee, or warranty of any pro or their work, licensing, insurance, prices, safety, or availability.
- Pros are independent businesses. We do not employ, supervise, or control them, and we are not responsible for what they do or fail to do.
- Hiring a pro is your decision and at your own risk. Before you hire anyone, do your own checking: confirm licenses and insurance, get written estimates, and read the contract.
4. Listings, reviews, and accuracy
We work to keep listings accurate, but information about businesses, including services, prices, hours, licenses, ratings, and reviews, can change or contain errors, and some of it comes from the businesses themselves or from public sources. We do not guarantee that any listing is complete, current, or accurate. Reviews and ratings reflect the opinions of the people who wrote them, not ours. If you see something wrong, email us and we will look into it. We decide what to list, how to rank listings, and when to update or remove them, using the methods described on our How we vet page. No one can pay for a better ranking or review.
5. AI texting assistant and demo
AI can make mistakes. Our texting assistant and demo use artificial intelligence to write replies automatically. AI-generated messages can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate, and they may misstate prices, availability, services, or other details.
- The demo is for evaluation only. The AI texting demo builds a sample profile from information you provide and public information about your business, then lets you text an AI assistant that answers as if it were your business. Every demo message is labeled [DEMO]. Demo bookings are simulated: no real appointment, order, quote, or commitment is made, and no real customer is contacted.
- If you are a pro using the assistant, you are responsible for reviewing and confirming any booking, appointment, price, quote, or other information the assistant sends or receives on your behalf, and for how you use its output with your customers. You are also responsible for giving your customers any notices, and getting any consents, that the law requires for texting them or for your use of an AI assistant.
- Only submit information about a business you own or are authorized to represent.
- Do not send sensitive information, such as payment card numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, or health information, by text or in demo answers.
The assistant service is still in development. We may change, pause, or stop it at any time. If we offer it as a paid service, it will be governed by separate terms (including pricing and billing) that you will be asked to accept before you are charged anything.
6. SMS / text messaging program
Program name: Call The Right Pro AI Texting Demo.
Program description: Call The Right Pro sends text messages to owners and staff of local home service businesses who opt in to receive them. You can opt in by checking the optional, unchecked SMS consent box on our demo sign-up form at calltherightpro.com/try/, or by texting a keyword such as START or DEMO to our number where we offer that option. Messages include: an opt-in confirmation; an AI-generated demo of our texting assistant that answers as if it were your business (every demo message is labeled [DEMO]); a demo-only booking notice (no real appointment is made); follow-ups about the demo or our services that you requested; and replies to questions you text us.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to receive texts to use the guide, submit the demo form, or buy anything from us.
- Message frequency varies based on your conversation and requests.
- Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for details.
- To opt out, reply STOP at any time (STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT also work). You will receive one message confirming you are unsubscribed, and no further texts unless you opt in again by replying START.
- For help, reply HELP, or email [email protected].
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- By opting in, you confirm that you are the subscriber of, or are authorized to use, the mobile number you provide. If you change or give up your number, please reply STOP first.
- Mobile information and SMS opt-in data are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break any law, or use the Services to harass, threaten, defraud, or harm anyone;
- Submit false or misleading information, impersonate anyone, or submit information about a business you are not authorized to represent;
- Enter someone else's phone number or email, or opt anyone in to texts without their permission;
- Post or send content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or that violates anyone's privacy;
- Try to get the AI assistant to produce harmful or unlawful content, or to reveal how it is built;
- Send spam, malware, or other harmful code, or try to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our systems;
- Scrape, copy, or harvest the guide or its listings by automated means, or use them to build a competing directory or dataset, without our written permission; or
- Help anyone else do any of these things.
8. Content you send us
You keep ownership of the information and content you send us, such as form entries, business details, interview answers, messages, reviews, and listing corrections ("Your Content"). You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, copy, store, process, adapt, and display Your Content as needed to operate, provide, and improve the Services (for example, to build your demo profile and generate AI replies), consistent with our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have the rights needed to give us this license and that Your Content does not violate these Terms or anyone's rights. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them freely without paying you or owing you anything.
9. Our intellectual property
The Services, including the site design, text, guides, rankings, illustrations, logos, and the Call The Right Pro name, are owned by TGP Ventures LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share pages for your personal, non-commercial use, such as sending a link to a friend. You may not copy, republish, sell, or create derivative works from the Services, or use our name or logo, without our written permission. Business names and trademarks of listed pros belong to their owners.
10. Third-party sites and services
The Services link to websites, phone numbers, and services run by others, including listed pros. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products, services, or privacy practices. Your dealings with any third party are solely between you and that third party.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICES, INCLUDING THE GUIDE, LISTINGS, DEMO, AI-GENERATED CONTENT, AND TEXT MESSAGES, ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, THAT ANY INFORMATION OR AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE, THAT ANY MESSAGE WILL BE DELIVERED, OR THAT ANY PRO WILL PERFORM AS EXPECTED.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) TGP VENTURES LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE; (B) WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR THE ACTS, OMISSIONS, WORK, PRODUCTS, OR SERVICES OF ANY PRO OR OTHER THIRD PARTY, OR FOR ANY RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT; AND (C) OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (1) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (2) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100).
Some states do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or limits on liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
13. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TGP Ventures LLC and its members, managers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and costs (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of any law or anyone else's rights, including laws about texting or contacting customers; or (d) if you are a pro, your services and your use of the assistant's output with your customers. We will tell you about any such claim and may take part in the defense with our own counsel.
14. Disputes and governing law
- Talk to us first. If you have a dispute with us, please email [email protected] with a short description and what you would like us to do. We will try in good faith to resolve it informally. Neither side may start a lawsuit until 30 days after notice was sent, except to seek urgent injunctive relief (for example, to stop misuse of our systems or intellectual property).
- Governing law. These Terms and any dispute relating to the Services are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and by applicable federal law.
- Where disputes are heard. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, it will be decided only in the state or federal courts located in Utah County, Utah, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
- Small claims. Either side may instead bring an individual claim in a small claims court with jurisdiction, as long as it qualifies.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time, and you can opt out of texts by replying STOP. We may suspend or end your access to any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, to protect the Services or others, or if we change or discontinue the Services. Sections 4, 5, and 8 through 17, and any other terms that by their nature should survive, will continue to apply after termination.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Changes take effect when posted, except that a material change will take effect no sooner than 14 days after we post it, and changes will not apply to a dispute that arose before the change. If you keep using the Services after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
17. General terms
- Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services, and they replace any earlier agreements on the same subject. Separate terms for any paid service will control for that service if they conflict with these Terms.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, that part will be enforced to the maximum extent allowed and the rest will stay in effect.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a part of these Terms right away, we have not given up our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours, for example as part of a merger or sale of our business.
- No agency. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and us.
- Events beyond our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as outages at carriers, hosting, or AI providers.
- Notices. We may give you notice by email, by text where you opted in, or by posting on the site. You may give us notice at [email protected].
